Employment & Learning Opportunity
Hello!
My name is Tracy Kalloway, LMHC. I'm the owner of Wise Mind Therapy, and a Linehan Board Certified DBT therapist (for more info about Linehan Board certification,

To accomplish this, we provide a unique employment and training opportunity for clinicians who are eager to learn or deepen their understanding of Comprehensive DBT Therapy.
What is Comprehensive DBT?

"I do DBT" has come to mean many things over the years, so let me define what we mean by "We specialize in Comprehensive DBT". Comprehensive DBT Therapy uses all 4 of the following components:
- Weekly individual therapy following the principles outlined in Marsha Linehan’s book “Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Borderline Personality Disorder”.
- Weekly DBT skills group where clients learn the skills needed to meet their treatment goals
- DBT skills phone/text coaching to help clients apply skills where they need them most, in their real lives. It's important to note these interactions are very different from therapy. Phone/text coaching is meant to be brief (10 minutes or less). When I asked members of our team how much time they spent each week on phone coaching, they reported spending 1 hour or less per week for all their clients combined. If you're excited about everything else involved in DBT, but worried about providing phone/text coaching, I'd be happy to talk more about it with you.
- Therapists attend weekly Team meetings with other DBT therapists. The focus of DBT Team is:
- supporting therapists in their work (we take burnout prevention very seriously)
- receiving supportive consultation on challenging clients
- adherence to the DBT therapy model.
Comprehensive DBT is the treatment modality used in the vast majority of DBT research papers.
If this sounds like something you'd like to pursue,
I'd like to hear from you!
