My name is Tracy Kalloway and I'm the owner of Wise Mind Therapy and a Linehan Board Certified DBT therapist. It is part of my life's mission to increase the number of therapists who are trained to provide Comprehensive DBT Therapy. To accomplish this, we provide a unique employment and training opportunity for clinicians who are eager to learn or deepen their understanding of all the components of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
At Wise Mind we specialize in Adult Comprehensive DBT Therapy, and about 90% of the work we do uses this modality. Many people are familiar with DBT being the research proven treatment for suicidal, self-harming clients, or those diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. In addition, Comprehensive DBT has been shown to be effective for a wide range of client problems including Emotion Dysregulation challenges, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, and Bipolar Disorder.
